About Cincinnati Compass

Cincinnati Compass is a collaborative project of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, City of Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati and more than 65 community partners who believe that immigrants and refugees are key contributors to a strong regional economy and a diverse, vibrant community.

Cincinnati Compass advances economic and cultural inclusion of immigrants, refugees and internationals through welcoming and integration efforts to improve the overall vibrancy of the region. As a trusted connector in the Cincinnati region, Cincinnati Compass advocates for social and economic inclusion; connects individuals and organizations to resources and to each other to build capacities and opportunities; and celebrates the cultural and economic contributions of these new Cincinnatians.

The University of Cincinnati, which today has more than 3,000 international students, was the first investor in Cincinnati Compass. UC's early and significant support made it possible to build and launch this portal in 2016. The City of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber express their sincere appreciation for UC's contribution to immigrant welcoming and integration in our region.
